Online Media are trying to cope with the challenge of escaping from the Desktop and making it to the Lucrative Sofa TV Screen. This means addressing the issue of making it possible for users to enjoy a real "Lean Back" experience. Redux for Boxee is a smart answer, but maybe only the beginning of a long standing battle. Per anni abbiamo disquisito sui mille fattori distorsivi che ostacolano, sui mainstream media, l’esercizio dell’onestà intellettuale. Di conseguenza, ci siamo baloccati con l’idea che la rete avrebbe imposto per la sua natura una maggiore libertà dai modelli di business, e quindi - fisiologicamente - condizioni migliori per esprimerci in linea con le nostre intime convinzioni. Ma naturalmente non è così. Questa breve presentazione è solo lo spunto per censire, insieme al popolo dei BarCampers, i mille vincoli, più insidiosi proprio perchè ancora non bene individuati, che impediscono a blogger, citizen journalist e frequentatori di social network di essere intellettualmente onesti. Nella speranza di trovare insieme qualche idea se non proprio per fare “clean sweep”, almeno per dare una rassettata alla “casa del web” prima che sia troppo tardi.
