4. Services
 Consulting: We analyze the various electricity consumption patterns on an individual
basis.
 Design: We design systems from first principles, where we utilize existing equipment as
much as possible to reduce cost, but tailor the reticulation, switchover and reaction time
to failures to the requirements of the client.
 Supply: We have established relationships with various suppliers and can assist in DIY,
expansion as well as re-designing of existing implementations.
 Install: We source the equipment, transport to site, install the components and then
integrate it to existing reticulation, generators and other power sources to provide the
client with a switch and forget scenario.
 Maintain: For all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance, we have a
dedicated group of professionals that can quickly address the problem.
 Manage: We manage all of our implementations with a full catalog of what was installed
at each site, which types of equipment is in use and we monitor their condition and
performance.
 Emergency Assistance: Managed clients also enjoy the assistance benefit, whereby
additional generation is available should the current implementation not be sufficient.
 Remote Monitoring: Many of our clients are located in very remote sites and we monitor
these sites for both availability and condition.

5. Project Involvement
Power from Nature
The biggest project that we have been involved with throughout the Engineer,
Procure, Construct and Manage processes was the 74 MW photovoltaic solar plant
(94 MWp) erected by the joint venture between Acciona and Aveng in 16 months, at
a cost of about R2 billion. We contributed in both office and site roles from initiation to
completion.
The plant has a nominal peak capacity of 74MW. It covers approximately 250
hectares and consists of 470 solar trackers that support the 319 600 photovoltaic
modules. The plant that was connected to the national grid on November 29, 2014 is
expected to produce 216 GWh per year and will have the highest level of electricity
output of all currently operational photovoltaic plants in Africa.
