Polyline editing improvements : The improved functionality of enhanced grips makes polylines significantly easier to edit in AutoCAD LT 2011. New secondary grips provide quick access to multiple functions. Hatch Command Enhancements : Improve drafting efficiency with new contextual tabs for hatch creation and editing Create or select similar objects : Two new commands save steps and time, speeding the process of creating or selecting objects based on the properties of existing objects. Hide or isolate objects : The new Hide Objects and Isolate Objects tools control the visibility of objects regardless of layer, so focus remains on the designated objects. - The focus of new features in AutoCAD LT 2011 is on the core “Document” component of the software. Command improvements and new time-saver tools speed the execution of everyday commands by making them easier to access and simpler to use. New commands in AutoCAD LT 2011 enable brand new options for controlling the appearance of drawings, including transparency and new hatch capabilities.
- Edit polylines more easily with new and improved grip functionality. Use grips to add or remove vertices and to convert straight-line segments to arcs, and vice versa.
- Access the Hatch command more easily through a contextual tab, similar to the tabs for Tables and Multiline Text. Expanded object grip functionality enables direct editing of a hatch’s scale, rotation, and origin. Additional options for controlling the appearance of hatches include transparency, background colors, and gradient fills. A single command sets hatches to appear behind all other objects. Quickly create new objects based on the properties of an existing object with the new Add Selected tool.
