Philosophy
Intertech Design Services, Inc.
Started in Cincinnati, Ohio, Intertech Design Services,
Incorporated was founded in 1975 by Stephen and Lia
Vamosi as the engineering firm Vamosi Associates.
Over the years the services of Architecture, Interior
Design, Construction Management and others were
added to supplement the needs of our growing client
base. Today, we offer a full range of client options that
combine cost-effective technical expertise with award
winning design solutions. Our focus is to provide an
aesthetically pleasing and highly functional environment
that is unique to each client’s needs.

With a project list of over 3,500 successful designs, we
have grown our multi-disciplinary design firm through
the repeat business of satisfied clients. Our current
customer base is comprised of 90% return clients, who
appreciate our commitment to treating every project with
the same value and attention. We have found that a
results-oriented team approach led by actively
participating principals paying close attention to cost,
schedule, quality design and constructibility make initial
clients quickly repeat customers.

Our market-specific experiences provide clients with a
project team that understands the unique needs of their
specialty market. This team approach enables us to
execute successful projects varying in scale from interior
renovations to large-scale complex projects up to $20
million in construction costs. We offer conventional to
image-making design. Our organizational skills,
electronic communication capabilities and Architectural
/ Engineering registration in more than 40 states plus
Puerto Rico provide our nation-wide client list with
responsive, quality service provided from coast to coast.
Technology
Our team includes a variety of professionals, technicians
and support personnel equipped with state-of-the art
computers using AutoCAD 2000i and most recently
AutoCAD 2006, along with Visual Studio, Microsoft
Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other leading software
tools to provide the client the most cost effective,
accurate designs, drawings packages and schedules. We
utilize our full in-house reproduction capabilities, the
Internet, digital imaging, and field laptop
communications to facilitate smooth document and
information transfer, saving you time in the design
process. Additionally, we encourage continuing
education for our team members to deepen their
technical skills, which enhances our productivity and
efficiency.
