Politico ad supporting passage of the “Regulatory Integrity Protection Act”
1. This Land Should Not Be “Jurisdictional”
Stop EPA’s Regulatory
Land Grab
The Environmental Protection Agency is
attempting to expand federal authority
over private property. If EPA gets its way,
millions of additional acres of land could
be regulated as wetlands under the Clean
Water Act.
The governors and state entities of 34
states want EPA to withdraw the proposed
rule and start over.
The Regulatory Integrity Protection Act
(H.R. 1732) would halt this unprecedented
land grab and require EPA to:
• Withdraw the proposed rule.
• Develop a new rule in consultation with
state and local governments and affected
groups.
• Ensure the new rule is based on better
science and realistic economic analysis.
Congress can
make that happen
