The document discusses the United States' role as the "Policemen of the World" since the Civil War. It argues that while the U.S. insists on permanent alliances and involvement in other countries' affairs through its foreign policy, recent military interventions in Libya and Syria have caused humanitarian crises and escalated conflicts rather than resolving them. The document also examines how the U.S. rose to power after World War II through regulatory roles in international incidents and policies influenced by the Cold War. In conclusion, it states that while the goal of interventions may be to promote peace, the military actions sometimes have negative impacts on the conflicts they aim to address.

The term ‘Policemen of the World’ has been used to refer to the
United States (U.S.) even after the Civil War. This reference
continues because, for many, the U.S likes to meddle in other
nations’ affairs. According to its foreign policy, the U.S. insists
2. on a mission to have permanent alliances with many countries.
However, the intervention of the Military in foreign countries
causes more harm than good. Military interventions in foreign
countries by the U.S in recent years has been a humanitarian
crisis and an escalation of conflict.
1. The U.S is known as the policemen of the world for its
extensive involvement in foreign matters (Grossman, 2001).
a) In 2011, U.S. troops and missiles used in Libya against the
Gaddafi government. It caused a humanitarian crisis and world
uproar.
b) In 2013, the U.S. military got involved in Syria. This conflict
is a continuous battle that has so far brought disaster to
civilians.
2. The rise of U.S to become powerful world policemen (B,
2016).
a) Very strict laws against other nations producing or
developing any nuclear weapons
b) Foreign rules for anti-terrorism
c) Implementing variations in migration policies
3. Ever since World War II, the U.S has taken on regulatory
roles in various international incidents.
a) The conflict in Korea (1950)
b) Syrian terrorism 2013-present)
c) Support to the Russian and Polish public for a democratic and
capitalistic government
4. Forces that fueled international policy decisions following
the civil war
a) Division of Capitalist and Communist Bloc leading to the
Cold War
b) Korean and Chinese wars
c) Treaty on the North Atlantic
In summation, the "World Policemen" continue to be involved
in matters of other countries with an account to the policies set
by the government. Though this is a mission that should bring
peace and harmony to the affected innocent civilians, some of
the military's intervention only makes situations worse
3. (Vartavarian, 2015). It could, therefore, be termed as sometimes
being a move with negative impact to the conflict surrounding a
particular nation.
