ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK
Day O1: kathamandu
Up on arrival in the airport pick up by guide and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel shanker/Similar 4*
Day 02: Pokhara (B)
Drive to Pokhara. Stay at lake side lodges and enjoy lake view and
sightseeing around the town. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort/Similar 3*
Day 03: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will drive one and half hour scenic drive from Pokhara
takes you to the starting point of your trek. You will cross the suspension
bridge over the Modi Khola River and then ascend slowly through terraced
fields and classic mountain villages. After 15 minutes short walk along the
bank of Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015 Meters) a large village that
has many shops and teahouse.From there, the trail follows the north bank
of the Bhurungdi Khola, climbs steadily up the of the village to Hille at
1495m and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1570m. Today's
walk offers a short and relatively easy day, during the journey which allows
you to become used to the experince of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at

Day 04: Thikhedhuga to Ghorepani (B/L/D)
Leaving thikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri.
Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070 meters. The trail then continues to
ascend more gently, through fine forest of oak and rhododendrons towards
Banthanti at 2250m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an
hour of walking, this brings you to Ghorepani 2840m. Overnight at Guest
House
Day 05: Ghorepani to Tadapani. (B/L/D)
Before sunrise, you can do an hour hike to Poon HIll at elevation of 3210m,
a brilliant spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of
sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend an hour, and return to
Ghorepani for hot breakfast at the guest house. Then begin the trek to
Tadapni (2610m). Along the trail towards Tadapani, we make climb along
ridges and through pine and rhododendron forest to Deurali (2960m). After
that we descend to the Banthanti, and turn off to Tadapani. Overnight at
Guest House.
Day 06: Tadapani to Chommrong (B/L/D)
The day starts with steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steeply
through forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people, with
an easy walk to Chommrong at elevation of 2140m. Overnight at guesthouse
Day 07: Chomrong to Himalayan Hotel (B/L/D)
After breakfast, follow the trail as it continues to Khuldighar after around 3 hours. From here it descends
very steeply to rocky backsides before leveling out and through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the
gorge. Keeping to the west side of the river we’ll pass through Tomoe paste. As we come of the neck of
2. the gorge at Panchen Barah we’ll see a small trail and shrine and from here we’ll follow the trail as it
climbs to Himalaya Hotel (2850m).
Day 08: Himalayan Hotel to Annapurna Base Camp VIA machhhapurchre Base Camp
(MBC)(4130m) 7 hours (B/L/D)
From the Himalayan hotel, it’s about an hour’s walk, initially on a rock trail through the forest and then
up a steep ravine to reach Hinko at 2960m. From here we’ll cross the ravine and follow the trail across a
major avalanche track just Hinko. About 30 minutes beyond Hinko is Deurali at around 3000m. Here as
the trail continues into the sanctuary, it crosses two wide avalanche tracks via a narrow trail that huddles
close against the cliffs. The trail then descends to meet the Modi Khola and follows the river to Bagar.
From Bagar we’ll climb across a few more avalanche paths, crossing a moraine and a stream before
climbing towards an area known as Machhapuchre Base camp. From Machhapuchre, it is about 2 hours
climb to ABC.
Day 09: ABC to Bamboo (2345m) 6 Hours (B/L/D)
After sunrise view, we follow the same trail that drops down by 1700m to the bank fo Modi Khola to
Bamboo at 2345m where are few guest house are available to stay overnight.
Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu Dada Hot spring (1780m) 5 Hours (B/L/D)
We follow the same trail until Chommrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar, there is an experimental
sheep Farm. The trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. From Chommrong, the trail
descends very steeply to the Jhinu hot spring, where you can bath in natural hot spring. Overnight in
guesthouse
Day 11: Trek to Ghandruk (1950m) 4 hours (B/L/D)
From Jhinu hot spring, we walk at the right side of Modi Khola for while till the New Bridge. From here, it
is about 2 hours walk up till Ghandruk Village. The resident of this village are retired Indian and British
Army serviceman. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 12: Ghandruk to Kathmandu‐VIA Pokahra.
Today, we’ll descend through the paved courtyards of Modi Khola riverside till Birethanthi. After
crossing a stream via the suspension bridge, the trail emerges into the Modi khola valley to reach
Nayapul. From here, we drive to the Pokhara and from take flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at Hotel Shanker/Similar 4*.
