My final reflection

Before you start your coursework spend some time reflecting on your final product.
Reflecting on Images
o What do the clothing codes tell you?
We wore casual student wear such as jeans and a t-shirt showing that the
college has a relaxed and open stance towards what students wear this is
reflected in the overall magazine being aimed at an informal casual
student audience.
o What are their facial expressions? Why?

The facial expression of the student featured on my magazine was a
relaxed and happy one the reason is because it is to show the college is a
relaxed and friendly environment to be in which is proven to be best to
learn and interact with.
o What is their posture? Why?
The posture was one of an upright proud stance which reflects the
student’s attitude of being a valued member of Solihull Sixth Form
College.
o What roles and stereotypes are being represented…..or
challenged? Does the image conform with or challenge
conventional ideas of male/female…..young/old……etc?
I followed typical student stereotype with my chosen student
dressed in an informal manner also he is clearly under 18 and
happy to be at college
