3. It is said that killing is an immoral act to us humans, and it is not the answer
on solving any problems or changing a person’s attitude to be a good person.
Because of killing it made more dangerous for us to live. That is why I chose
this kind of solution to be worst.
WHY WORST?
4. Erica was right, because it is really immoral and inhuman if you just kill the
person who doesn’t follow rules. Like for example, there is someone who
break the law “Jaywalking” then that person who breaks the law or rule will be
killed. So, obviously it is really unfair if that person will be killed just like that.
IT’S IMMORAL AND INHUMAN!
5. That person commits “Murder”? Or “Rape”? Is it still okay if we don’t punish
that kind of person? Will that person change if we just throw them to jail?
How come there many people brought jail again and again with the same
cases? How will we stop crime?
BUT… WHAT IF???
6. As what I have said earlier KILLING is bad doing. But why some other
countries follow the “Hammurabi’s Code of Law” (An eye for an eye, a tooth
for a tooth)? “An Eye For An Eye” is the principle that a person who has
injured another person is penalized to a similar degree, or in softer
interpretations, the victim receives the value of the injury in compensation
KILLING IS THE WORST
SOLUTION BUT…
8. As we can see on the previous slide, Saudi Arabia has less crimes than United
States. We all know that United States is partially called the most progressive
country. But, how come United States has high crime rate? How do the world
judge a progressive country if that country can’t minimize crime? Are we sure
that the economy of the United States is legal?
SAUDI VS. USA
9. The Saudi Arabia, follows the saying “An Eye For An Eye” and USA doesn’t
follow it. Therefore, people in Saudi Arabia follow rules because they heartily
follow rules, they don’t want themselves to be put on risks. Cause they already
know what is going to happen if they violate a law. Unlike in USA, people can
just accept the consequences if they violate a law.
SAUDI VS. USA
10. If all of us are aware about the law, nothing bad will happen. But we can
never stop crime, because we are all not perfect. Erica said that our law
makers should give first a warning on people who break laws, in that sense,
people will be complacent to do bad things because they know that they will
be given a warning.
CONCLUSION
11. So, if we follow the saying “An Eye For An Eye” it would be fair for all of us.
If a person kills somebody, that person should also be killed. He has no
choice, in the first place, why would he do a such thing like killing. Where is
the justice for that man who was killed? Law is build to stop us from doing
bad to have united country, but people don’t take it seriously for those country
doesn’t follow Hammurabi Code of Law.
CONCLUSION
