34. But takes a break to join the housewarming party Lisa is having for their friends.
35.
36.
37. After the friends leave Lisa sleeps - her dreams haunted by a horrid face…
38. Soon David is obsessed with the room – filling it with electronic equipment to decipher its power – ignoring his wife and friends. He just wants to be left alone with the chair…
41. None of the other friend’s wishes have come true yet. Until a co-worker shoots up Lyle’s office – killing eight…
42. And Lyle is promoted because so many above him are now dead.
43. Wishes made in the room have consequences. David builds a door over the room and locks it until he can learn how to control it…
44. He turns to town records for a clue but finds none. The town archivist is away and David leaves a message. He wants to know if anything ever happened at their house.
45. Back at the house Lisa starts finding odd things carved into their grass and trees. African protection symbols…
46. Other weird things occur as well. Bugs make lines for the house but do not enter. And birds keep hitting the windows.
48. That evening the power in the house fails again and a figure approaches a frightened Lisa.
49. But it’s just old Theodore coming to see if she is alright. He refuses to stay in the house though – so he and Lisa sit on the porch and she shows him her wedding photos. She warms to him.
50. The next day the ‘great guy’ Heather was dating kills her – then himself in a jealous rage. Now her wish is granted – to ‘have someone fall madly in love with her.’
51. And Lyle does not get off light either. The wife of the office shooter shoots him – blaming Lyle for her spouse’s rampage.
52. And Jim – he became smarter. So much so that his brain grew – splitting his skull. He awakens during emergency surgery …
54. Distraught, Lisa goes to a psychic for answers and learns that supernatural forces need energy to grow. Perhaps the room is feeding on all the equipment David has in there.
55. Lisa then checks in on her friend Ally. But Ally is not herself – wasting away from a flesh-eating virus – thin at last…
56. Lisa and David talk. What should they do? Should they move? But neither wants to. They are not thinking correctly – unstable – like other young couples in similar situations…
57. The last surviving friend – Keiron – wants to unwish his wishes and tries to get into the room. He and David fight. Keiron gets a sliver from the chair. Now he can make wishes outside of the room…
58. Mid-drive he wishes his vehicle was a race car. It starts to change, speeding up – and crashes – splattering Keiron along the highway…
60. Looking for Lisa, David pokes about Theodore’s next door. Instead he finds an altar adorned with dead chickens – and his wedding photos!
61. He smashes the alter and tells Theodore to stay away from them – then returns home, drinking heavily. Soon a figure rises from the basement – coming after him. David blacks out.
62. When he awakens he clears the equipment from the room, stops drinking and returns to teaching. He will leave the room alone and get his life back in order.
63. But a call from the town archivist changes his mind. David learns that there was an old lady in town 150 years ago who used to help the locals. They would come to her house, sit in a chair and tell her what they wished for…
64. The townsfolk assumed it was that chair that had the power. So they killed the old lady – and took it. But soon afterwards they began to die off. So they got a slave to bury the chair out of town and cast a spell of protection. The ancestors of the slave are still around…
65. The archivist emails a photo of the old woman. She has the same face from Lisa’s nightmares. And she is sitting in the chair that is in David’s basement…
