Software Test Architecture is distinct from the details of test case designing, test execution,
bug reporting and follow-up. Test Architects is akin to being a solution architect for the
testing world. More often than not in today’s fast paced, fixed time & price based
independent testing projects the need of test architects is all the more important.
The common thread across all test architect roles and the primary responsibility of a test
architect is to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for their testing
organization.
The three day course introduces the essential concepts and nuances of architecting a
testing solution. While doing so lot of practical real life scenarios and role plays are taken
up that help participant start thinking and acting like Test Architects.

1 Day Workshop on "Practical Test Strategy Formulation"
Get Practical hands on workshop on how to think about and prepare a testing strategy.
Test Strategy is one of the most important tools for budding test leads, test managers,
Business Analysts and senior testing practitioners.
The purpose of the test strategy is to manage and direct the test effort to a successful
conclusion by finding the important defects early and providing project stakeholders with the
information they need to make informed decisions. Through numerous class discussions and
explorations, you’ll learn the critical success factors for developing a practical test strategy.

2-3 Day Workshop on “Effective and Efficient Testing"
Testing even a simple system is a potentially infinite task. With tight budgets and schedules,
testers need a practical set of tools that will allow them to effectively and efficiently test
software and find bugs.
The course will look at practical techniques like risk analysis and test planning, static testing
of requirements and code. Course is designed to have hands-on experience with black-box
techniques including equivalence classes, decision tables, state-transition diagrams, and
orthogonal arrays. The course will also cover documenting test cases, writing bug reports, and
tracking test status.
This is a 2 to 3 day workshop.

1 Day Workshop on “Risk Based Testing"
Testing is concerned with two main types of risks:
Product or quality risks are problems that can potentially affect the quality of the product
itself, such as a defect that could cause a system to crash during normal operation.
Project or planning risks, which are problems that can potentially affect overall project
success, such as a staffing shortage that could delay completion of a deliverable.
Not all risks are equal and there are a number of ways to classify the different levels of risk.
The simplest is to look at two factors:
The likelihood of the problem occurring, which depends primarily on technical
considerations, such as the programming languages used and the constraints of a given
computing platform.
The impact of the problem should it occur, which depends primarily on business
considerations, such as the financial impact of system downtime or the amount of lost staff
productivity.
This is 1 day workshop and would help in practically learning and experiencing the Risk
based testing

2 Day Workshop on “Test Estimation"
As a test manager, development manager, or test lead, at the beginning of many projects,
you probably find yourself confronted with the question, “How long will it take—and what
resources do you need—to test this system?” Maybe your boss asked you. Or maybe your boss
just gave you an end date, and you’re wondering if you can actually hit that date. Or maybe
you’re bidding on a project for an important client. Or maybe you are putting together a
