Staff answers to Questionnaire.  (12) How are you feeling about ICT contract? 2-Confident  8-OK  2-Confused. 1 was confused about the name of the contract! How many changes have you made since being on ICT contract? 1-heaps  5- lots  6-some  0-none at all What thinking skills and graphic organisers have you used? All said Hats and PMI.  Y charts, Double Bubbles, Silent card shuffle and Tournament Prioritiser all got a mention. ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Staff are also using Safari, Firefox, sending more emails and information electronically. Using sites such as Starfall in class.
It all started with the 6 hats. Some teachers had already been using the hats in class and others found them easy to introduce and use in class. Children are now able to state which hat they are using. Year 1+2 class have  started looking at facts  about the Olympic Games using their white hats.

Photographs are being taken by staff and children for use in class.
Photos used for oral language and sequence stories.

A variety of graphic organizers have been introduced to teachers and tried in class. The double bubble was a favourite with juniors. Comparing blow up balloons with hot air balloons. Comparing early bicycles with their own bike.
 
Should the council put a road through Garden Place? PMI used for current affairs.
