2. Introduction
The country I am studying is Saudi
Arabia. Saudi Arabia’s capital is Riyadh.
Their language is Arabic. Their location is
in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is in Asia.
Their boarders are Yemen, Oman, Iraq,
Qatar, U.A.E and Kuwait.
3. History
In ancient time the kingdom on peninsula controlled trade routes between
African Asia. Humans have lived near the coasts of the Arabian peninsula for
thousands. Until 1932 Saudi Arabia used to be called Arabia. Saudi Arabia
came into existence in the 18 th centuary around 1750. It is known as the
place where Islam religion started. Most Saudis are Arabs, the rest have
origins from Iran, India, Indonesia and many other Islamic countries.
King Abd Al Aziz, Ibn Saud is the one who started the stared the state of
Saudi Arabia.

of water of Saudi Arabia . Half
Moon Bay: An area of recreation for many
people. Also know for fishing. Subkhat
Matti: A dry lake which is between Saudi
Arabia and the U.A.E. Sabka in the word
Sabkhat means “salt flat”.

3 deserts from Saudi Arabia for this ad
dahna which is 800 miles, An Nafud
40,000 square miles, Rub al Khali 250,000

There is a fountain in Saudi Arabia called
‘King Fountain”. In the city Jeddah.

Clothing
Men and boys wear white thobes during hot
weathers, where as in cold weather they
wear wool thobes with dark colors.
Sometimes men put a bisht or mishlah over
their thobes. The mishlah or bisht usually
are black, brown or white robes with gold
designs. Men can wear a gutra and igal on
their heads. As for the women they should
wear a abaya in public cover their hair with
a scarf and cover their face with a veil.
Music
The music of Saudi Arabia differs from one
area to another. Music was brought from
around the world. They have the music of
Al-Sihba which is poetry and songs. They
also have the sword dance called Ardha.

Food
Holidays
The people of Saudi Arabia mostly eat
rice, chicken, lamb, wheat and dates.
Their famous plate is Kabsa.
There are 3 important holidays in Saudi
Arabia. The 3 of them are religious they
have profits birthday which is 1day, Eid al
Fitr which is 7 days and the Eid al adha
which is 10 days.

Population: The current population of Saudi Arabia is about 29.196 million
people. The Saudi Arabian population is now more than U.A.E.. But is still
less than Iraq. The population density of Saudi Arabia is about 31 people per
square mile.
Story Behind The Flag: Saudi Arabia chose green to honor prophet
Muhhamad’s favorite color. The white on it is the Muslim statement of faith.
The sword represents Abd Al Aziz.

Facts
One strange law is that you are not allowed to wear
shorts in public. Another one is women are not
allowed to drive a car. The women are not even
allowed to vote but in 2015 they will start allowing
them. There is no minimum age of marriage.

Travel Tips: The best time to visit Saudi Arabia is in April and May.
Another good time to visit is in October when the temperatures are fine and
the nights are cool. December and March the day temperatures are fine but
can be cold in the night in mountains.
11. Conclusion
I liked the country because I learned a lot. I want to
go there because I want I want to learn more about
this country and see how hot is.
