Be2camp is a place for people interested in
how the latest web 2.0 applications could
help build a better, more sustainable built
environment ‐ from planning and design
through construction to occupation and
management of buildings and infrastructure
etc.

have a twitter backchannel
Have people participate virtually via streaming
video and live blogging and be able to contribute
to the discussions
Have people participate virtually via SecondLife
and be able to contribute and have discussions
Have people present to all audiences from
SecondLife
Maybe have people present to all audiences via
Skype

50 people registered to attend in person (plus another 11
online)
More than 50 people attended Be2camp 2008 in real life
During the day, the Be2camp website recorded 183 unique
visitors, making a total of 285 visits, to the website
Average time per visit that day was 6 minutes 54 seconds
The CoverItLive blog feed had 47 unique visitors up to 5pm
At one point, 12 individuals were watching the Be2camp
live feed in Second Life
The Ustream videos have been viewed 172 times to date
8 new members joined the Be2camp network during 10
October
Currently over 150 members on the Be2Camp Ning site
