Adjective Endings A very QUICK introduction 
What is an adjective? An adjective is a describing word.  It describes the noun in asentence:  the old man, cold water, an angry dog. In German adjectives are used to show the gender of the noun (whether it is a masculine, feminine, neuter or plural noun).
Indefinite articlesand adjective endings Indefinite article = ein, eine, einem, einer etc. Der Rock = the skirt, ein Rock = a skirt That is a black skirt. Das isteinschwarzer Rock.
Indefinite articlesand adjective endings cont. Die Jacke = the jacket, eineJacke = a jacket A red jacket is beautiful. Eine roteJackeistschön. Das Kleid = the dress, a dress = einKleid Here is a brown dress. HieristeinbraunesKleid.
