2. IMPORTANCE OF PDHPE PDHPE is a very important part of your development as you change from children into teenagers, and from teenagers into adults. It is the subject that will help you develop “knowledge and understanding, skills, values and attitudes” (BOS, 2007, p.5) that are not only important for you now as a child, but all throughout your life!

3. IN YOUR PE CLASS: You will develop your physical skills through a range of sports, games, dancing and gymnastics.

4. IN YOUR PDH CLASS: You will learn about very important issues relating to you as an individual and the people around you (society).You may have already learnt some of these, such as:- Road Safety- Drug Education-Healthy Eating- Personal Identity-Decision Making
