Another way: what you practice is what you have: if you spend time in a state of peace, the next time your sig other, child, guy behind you yacking on his cell phone, the more likely it is that you will be able to engage in a peaceful manner, rather than becoming angry (which for me is not a place I like ot be in, often.

lower anxiety, depression, anger, and fatigue, and higher vigor on the Profile of Mood States scale, a significant decrease in stress-related cortisol, and an increase in immunoreactivity
Regardless, I want some of what he’s having
This is a central question that the students asked ourselves: why is it so hard to do something we are motivated to do, that is even, when we do it, our favorite part of the day?

while some indicators show that FB helps self esteem, this is only true from “personal” interactions (chating, wall to wall posts, etc). As more content is consumed (reading friends posts, looking at pictures) loneliness increases.
