2. How to increase your productivity and save time through organisation of your apps?
Place your frequently used apps in the hotzone (see red boxes in pic above)
Least effort and amount of time spent to traverse your finger from the side of the phone to the most
commonly used app.
Ever wonder why the default layout on the rightmost of the screen is the 'application' app when the
'application app' is not the most frequently used app? Think of your email, SMS messaging
app, #Youtube.,, and #Facebook., apps. For me personally i check #Facebook., on my phone 15 times a day
and my 'Messaging' app 30 times a day.
You may argue i need to use the 'application app' to access the other pages of hidden apps. What about
the five pages of home screens you can access by swiping left or right? That is much quicker rather than
tapping on the 'application' app and waiting it to load.
I know it may seem trivial and common sense to some, others may have known and already done it on their
phones. But does everyone you know (family, friends, colleagues, and relatives) knows about this?
Answer: Lets not assume. Lead a more efficient life by assisting them to save precious time which could be
used for work or play.0.5 seconds in delay for each access to your app assuming you tap your apps (i am sure
you check #Facebook.,, email, internet, messaging apps) numerous times in a day would result in a
significant amount of time saved for the rest of your life which could be used to do more work, enjoyment
in your leisure activities or spend time with your loved ones.
