Our client is a leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. However, because
of its scale of business, it was suffering from bottle-necked communications from mid-level
management, which was adversely affecting their execution, management and alignment.
The Best Practices Advantage
Our major task was to help the client identify the cause of the communication gap by examining
communication best practices of high-performing organizations. Here, we began by discovering where our
client lied among its competitors in terms of communication strength. Our client was in the bottom 1/5:

We then performed evidence-based benchmarks, analyzed statistical anomalies and conducted deep-dive
interviews. For example, we found that on average, companies allot more than 40% of their communications
training time to formal training to However, our client spends only 15% of time on formalized training.
