Who should attend this boot camp? Any teacher, K-16, who is looking for ways to integrate technology into
their professional lives and classrooms. Participants will be grouped by content area and grade level in order to
create a more customized experience. Presenters will focus on the International Society for Technology in
Education Standards for Teachers (ISTE NETS•T) which include:
Learn how to integrate Google Apps into your
Facilitating and Inspiring Student Learning and Creativity daily routine to save time and energy. Explore how
Designing and Developing Digital-Age Learning Experiences to help students unleash their creative potential
and Assessments using digital story telling tools such as
Modeling Digital-Age Work and Learning VoiceThread and Animoto. Experience the power
Promoting and Modeling Digital Citizenship and of connecting with teachers from around the world
Responsibility using Twitter. This boot camp will give you the
Engaging in Professional Growth and Leadership confidence you need in order to take the plunge
into the world of educational technology.
Registration Fee: $70
Fee covers all sessions, breakfast, lunch, and snacks on both days of the boot camp. Computers will be
available as well, but you are welcome to bring your own. Registration is due by May 25. Participation will
be limited to 125. Register early to secure your slot.
*Working with CSC to get this event approved for credit. Check the website late in the spring for an update.
