The traditional methods of clearing an oil spill are not much effective due to their hazardous drawbacks therefor the aim of this project is to build an time saving and cost efficient mechanism which can clear oil spill in minimum amount of time.

AN OIL SPILL CAN CAUSE AN IMMEDIATE FIRE HAZARD AND
ALSO CONTAMINATE THE DRINKING WATER SUPPLY.

THE MAJOR EFFECT OF OIL SPILL IS SEEN ON THE
ECONOMY. WHEN PRECIOUS CRUDE OIL OR REFINED
PETROLEUM IS LOST, IT AFFECTS THE AMOUNT OF
PETROLEUM AND GAS AVAILABLE FOR USE.

10. SURFACE DISPERSANTS
DESCRIPTION
DISPERSANTS ARE THE CHEMICALS THAT ARE SPRAYED ON A
SURFACE OIL SLICK TO BREAK DOWN OIL INTO SMALLER OIL
DROPLETS , WHICH ARE MORE READILY TO MIX WITH WATER.
DRAWBACKS
IT AFFECT THE LIFE OF AQUATIC ANIMALS AND PLANTS BY
CREATING HARMFUL ATMOSPHERE.
