1. Existence <br />Scene 1 Ext.<br />A stroppy alternative teenage girl trips over a shoe as she walks home from school. She has a large backpack and is wearing a uniform she has an emoish look. She walks in to her home closing the door behind her.<br />Scene 2:Int.<br />Girl goes into the Kitchen and says ‘hi’ to her mum - (Mum doesn’t answer) the girl ask ‘what’s wrong’ (Mum doesn’t answer again). Girl leave’s the kitchen. The intention of this scene is to show that her mother is ignoring which suggests to the audience that the girl has issues with her mother. <br /> <br />Scene 3a Int.<br />Girl goes up the stairs and into her bedroom. Girl looks in to her mirror but cannot see a reflection. The intention of this scene is to show that the girl is invisible – for herself at least. <br />Scene 3b Int.<br />She freaks out and screams for her mum. (No one comes).The girl is beginning to get frustrated and scared. <br />Scene 4 Int.<br />She then goes down stairs and looks at the wall where her school photo from last year hangs on the wall. The intention of this scene is to show the girl searching for her existence. <br />Scene 5 Int. <br />She runs in to the kitchen and screams as loud as she can ‘mum why are you ignoring me’ in her mum’s ear. Her mother doesn’t even flinch but just looks at her watch and rolls her eyes. This confirms to the audience that the girl does not exist and that her mother is in fact unaware of her death. However while the girl is screaming the phone rings and her mother receives the news that her daughter has died. <br />Scene 6 Ext.<br />She then has a flashback and is suddenly on a road near her house. Suddenly a man starts walking close to the girl. The next thing she’s on the floor. She runs to herself gasping as she tries to scream for help. The audience now realises that the girl never returned home from school but was in fact murdered in the same place where she tripped over the shoe at the beginning of the story. She then realises that it was her shoe that she tripped over. <br />Scene 7 Int. <br />Girl close’s her eyes and when she opens them she is out of her flashback and back in her bedroom. We see the clock on the dashboard – time has passed it is now evening. Her mum’s is quietly weeping on the girl’s bed. A close up shot shows the girl whispering in her mum’s ear ‘Good Bye’ and then a master shot shows that she has vanished. <br />
