technologies and practices that people use to share opinions, insights, experiences, and
perspectives with each other. Social media is a great way to drive repeat business
and to attract new customers.
To find something comparable, you have to go back 500 years to the printing press; the birth of
mass media … Technology is shifting power away from editors, the publishers, the
establishment, and the media elite. Now it’s the people who are taking control.
Social media is the technology that connects people—whether it’s to share content or just to chat.
Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest are the places where social interactions
happen.
Social media marketing is the way to use that technology to build relationships, drive repeat business.
And attract new customers through friends sharing with friends.
Set Your Goals
It’s important that you set goals and understand what you want to achieve from your
social media marketing efforts. Here are some of the main ways you can use social
media to have a big impact on your business:
