By the time he was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide’s North America region in 2005, Bill Gray had already proven his leadership skills as President of Ogilvy and Mather’s New York office. Mr. Gray spent more than 30 years with the company, climbing the ranks from his original title of Assistant Account Executive in 1978. In his first 14 months as Co-CEO, Bill Gray led Ogilvy to record revenues and profits. He won every major industry award he was eligible for, including the Cannes Grand Prix Lion, the Grand Effie, and the Forrester Groundswell award, which he received in both 2006 and 2009.
