The purpose of Geolocation and passage control systems is
to monitor which persons are entering the facility and in which
positioning zone they are located.
The system detects which people are in the tunnel, and in
which zone they are located, then information is shown in a
centralized system in the event of evacuation of the tunnel
system. Individuals are identified via a positioning RFID active-
tag. At tunnel entrances, Cameras, information signs and light
signals help to indicate if users are valid in the system or not,
and record video in case.
The software suite, called “TRANSEO” is structured in two main
layers:
- TRANSEO WEB, the user interface, a website accessible for
operators. Presents data for rapports, visualization of events,
monitoring alarms, maps visualization, entering and importing
personnel data etc..
- TRANSEO PLUS, the application and data base management,
based in structure SQL server/client that includes hardware
definition, groups, zones, time schedules, automation of ac-
tions, SQL database management etc..

GEOLOCATION SYSTEMS
In tunnels, the concepts of emergency and evacuation as
well as an effective alarm are all the more important. A fire
in the tunnel can lead to a strong release of smoke. Vision
and orientation are significantly impaired, making it difficult to
detect escape routes, emergency exits or shelters.
Our innovative concept allows people to be informed by
acoustic signals of the nature of the alarm.
Supplementing visual signaling with audible signals allows
people to be evacuated and rescued more quickly. Thanks
to pre-programmed targeted acoustic signals and voice an-
nouncements, people can orient themselves even in heavy
smoke and leave the danger zone.
The acoustic alarm in the tunnel is ensured with sirens with
an alarm sound plus voice messages of 110 dBm.
The programmable flashing lamp is by default blue color
and very high brightness.
The push button is protected by a transparent cover. The
system is supplied with user-friendly web-based control
software. As an option, another push button is available for
accident signalling. plus antennas and controllers for location
of personnel in tunnel.
