Ph.D. in physics from the University of Hamburg - left science for love, and my early involvement in the development of the WWW brought me a job in London (Accenture). Head-hunted to Shell where I stayed until, again, private life interfered (as it does!) - when our daughter was born, we moved to New Zealand where I spent a helluvayear as a guest lecturer...
