• We have also been looking at other technologies such as the “Aladdin video enlarger”
(state library of western Australia n.d) this enables the user to “place printed material
or a photograph on the mobile table and see it displayed on the monito in whatever

17. What we will be providing
• We have also looked at employing the use of the “Kurzwell reading edge.” (State
library of Western Australia n.d.) which is “…For people with print disabilities” (State
Library of Western Australia.) This is a machine that “ Scans printed material and reads
the text in high quality synthesized speech.” (State Library of Western Australia.)

• Very diverse community that visit the library
