2. Step 1: Open an internet browser and go to http://www.showmelocal.com. Once the page
loads, click on the Join Now For Free button located on the upper right hand corner of your
screen.

3. Step 2: You will be taken to a page giving you some benefits as to why you should add your
business listing to Show Me Local. Click on the Start Now button to continue.

4. Step 3: Before we can start listing a business, we first have to create an account on Show
Me Local. On the left hand side of the page you will see some options to sign in via
Facebook, Google+, or LinkedIn. The right hand side of the page allows you to create an
account if you would like to not allow Show Me Local to have access to certain data points.
For the purpose of this how-to, we will be using the Google+ method. Click on the Sign in
with Google link to continue.

5. Step 4: A small pop-up will appear on your screen and ask you to sign in to your gmail
account. Fill out the appropriate information and click on the Sign In button to
continue.

6. Step 5: You will now see the list of permissions that Show Me Local would have access
to. The only one that we are changing in this how-to is the last option. Check the box
that says "Only you." Click on Accept to continue.

7. Step 6: Now that you are signed in, you will be redirected to the Business Registration page.
Fill out the appropriate information, enter in the security code shown, and when finished,
click on the Add Business button at the bottom of the screen. Please note that the City and
State boxes will automatically appear pre-populated once you add your zip code to the zip
code field.

8. Step 7: This is the Show Me Local Business Dashboard. From here you have options and
upgrades to make your listing stand out from the crowd. We have more information to add
to our listing, click on the "edit profile" link on the navigation bar, next to the dashboard link.

9. Step 8: From this area you can add a ton of information to your listing. Each step from here
will cover the next section, starting with Business information. Click on the Edit button in the
business information field.

10. Step 9: Add as much relevant and true information to the fields available. The only one you
do not want to miss is the Web site field. When finished, click on the Update button at the
bottom of the page. You will be taken back to the edit profile section. Scroll down and click
on the edit button next to the Description of Services section.

11. Step 10: You have up to 10,000 characters to add to this section. Referencing your NAP
document, copy your long description and paste it. Click on the update button when
finished. You will be taken back to the edit profile section. Scroll down and click on the edit
button next to the Business Hours section.

12. Step 11: By default Show Me Local has the option that does not display your business
hours. Check the box that is appropriate, in this case it's Use hours specified below, add in
your operating hours and click on the Update button. You will be taken back to the edit
profile section. Scroll down and click on the edit button next to the Payment Options
section.

13. Step 12: Check the payment options that your business allows, then click on the Update
button below. You will be taken back to the edit profile section. Scroll down and click on the
edit button next to the Products Carried section.

14. Step 13: Referencing your NAP document, add in your products and/or services to this
section. Make sure each product or service is separated by a comma, click on the Update
button when finished. You will be taken back to the edit profile section.

15. Step 14: For the sake of not repeating myself, each section thereafter gets pretty self-
explanatory. If you scroll over a section and can add information to it, then you should
add it. When finished adding all of your information to these sections, click on the
Photos link located on the right hand navigation under the Enhance section. Free
profiles are allowed one photo.

16. Step 15: Click on the Choose File button, select your logo photo and then click on the
Upload button. Your logo will upload and will be the default photo for your business listing.
Now that we are satisfied with all of the information we have provided, lets take a look at
the listing. Click on the view page link.

17. Step 16: Wahoo! Our business listing is looking pretty good, isn't it? Make sure to double
