2. • I am able to create my own product using my own pure,
unique creativity, yet with audience feedback, I am able to
tailor the product to the audience's needs/wants meaning the
product will be popular as well as unique. In order to get the
product I have currently produced (music video, album cover
and website), it has been very much due to the audience, no
matter how minor their advice was.
• It can be said that audience feedback is a key factor in
deciding what will determine the outcome of your video and
product. Personally holding the power to create my own
unique piece of work, which will follow the conventions of a
indie/ pop music video by using references and examples of
others I would link to mine as being similar or videos which
include similar aspects.
3. • As I already knew the demographic of people I was targeting
because indie/soul/pop has a wide market of listeners, I
carried out a lot of research into other different videos on
YouTube that I wanted to replicate or add in certain features
that I liked.
• Audience feedback can be critical to the success of the film.
Firstly to get a quick response to my video I showed my
target audience (my class) my short film and asked them to
fill out a questionnaire after as well as after using Survey
monkey to fill out another fast questionnaire, As well as a
written questionnaire which offered me more in depth
answers to my questions.
4. • Firstly before creating the video, I created a
survey monkey to who my potential target market
were and to have an idea of how to reach my
target.

6. • My results showed me that I had to:
• Promote my video via blogs and Youtube
• Make my video easier to find via
getting posts suggested on Youtube and Facebook
• Target non hip indie/ pop fans.
• Focus on the quality of the visual artwork, making it
match my brand
7. • I uploaded my media short film on to various
social media sites and promoted it using Twitter,
Facebook, YouTube and vimeo. For my ancillary
tasks I was able to receive feed back by uploading
my poster and magazine review onto social media
websites, this meant that I could get immediate
response from the target audience. This benefited
my responses to change any of my ideas and
outcomes.
