1. Album Covers Compared with The Beatles Abbey Road

3. Ancillary Task Back Cover Here I added Different song titles that the band could have come up with for the album. We used the same idea from the abbey road album. It is quite effective because the picture goes with the song. The protagonist is ‘going to the discount store.’ Here I added the logo for the record company that would most likely sign the band. Here I added a barcode to make it look authentic and realistic. I added the names of the performers (band members) because a lot of CD’s do that now.

4. Original Abbey Road Here is the original abbey road. I did not want to keep the photo in colour because I wanted to add my own visual elements to it. Also I did not want to do the exact same picture. I wanted some differences. Obviously this will not have much or any (in this case) writing on it since it is a front cover.

5. Similarities Not realising this at the time we took the photo, the middle picture of the album cover has similarities. The use of the brick wall and casualness of the shot. The magazine article looks even more similar because it has text placed on it, just like The Beatles one below.
