Release Description
This document outlines the enhancements / bug fixes incorporated in Inventory Pro version 6.6.7.0
Inventory Pro version 6.6.7.0 is only supported on
 SAP Business One 8.8 SP00 PL07 and above
 SAP Business One 8.81 PL05 and above
 SAP Business One 8.82 PL04 and above

Inventory Pro version 6.6.7.0 will not be supported on the following environments:
 SAP Business One 2007
 SAP Business One 2005
 Microsoft SQL Server 2000

You must install Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime with this version of Inventory Pro.

Enhancements
Following features have been added / enhanced in the Inventory Pro version 6.6.7.0:

 Archive Failed Transaction Log – An Archive button has been added to the RF Transaction Log screen and World
Ship Transaction Log screen to archive integration logs of transactions which fail due to manual processing by
the user.

 Item Label Customization – With this release of Inventory Pro, the Item Labels can be customized based on a
Stored Procedure similar to other Inventory Pro reports.

 Prompt for Pick Confirm – A new setting has been added to the Inventory Pro document Settings to display a
Prompt for Pick Confirmation in Order Management.

Bugs and Defects Fixed
Following bugs have been fixed in this release:

World Ship Transaction Log – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, the date filters where not
applied when displaying the shipping integration log. Also the Retry button would not re-set the failed transactions.
This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Automatic Allocation – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro the Auto Allocation Service would
only process Rush Orders when the allocation preference is set to Rush Order > Delivery Date > Document No. This
has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Bin Code Sorting in Bin Lookup on RF – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, when performing a
Picking Transaction, the Bin Codes were not sorted according to Bin Preference in the Bin lookup list. This has been
fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Delivery Document Fails – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, the creation of the Delivery
Document would fail due to NULL values in the Sales Order UDFs. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Auto Selection of Related Rows in Order Management – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro
the Auto selection of related rows in the Picked Tab of the Order Management would not work in case of Sales BOM
rows. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Partial Put-Away of GRPO from RF – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, when an invalid GRPO
number was entered for Put-Away, the system would not identify GRPOs which were partially put-away in previous
transactions. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Delivery of Sales BOM rows – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, if the setting - Draw
undelivered rows in Delivery is selected, the creation of the delivery document would fail for Sales BOM rows. This
has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

UOM field on Sales Order rows – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, the Pick Confirm process
would fail due to long UOM description on Sales Order rows. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Freezing of Scroll Bars in Marketing Documents – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, the scroll
bars in marketing documents would freeze when the screen size is reduced (resized). This has been fixed in this
release of Inventory Pro.

Receipt from Production – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro, the Receipt from Production
document for subsequent partial receipts would fail for Batch and Serial managed items. This has been fixed in this
release of Inventory Pro.

Enhancements

 Chinese Localization – This release of Inventory Pro extends support for Chinese localization.

 VGA Display based RF Handheld Devices – This release of Inventory Pro extends support for VGA display based
RF Handheld devices.

 Windows Mobile 6.5 for RF Handheld Devices – This release of Inventory Pro extends support for Windows
Mobile 6.5 based RF Handheld devices.

 Order Management – With this release of Inventory Pro all selected rows in the Order Management screen will
be highlighted and the screen scroll will be maintained (i.e. – the screen will not scroll back to the top).


Multiple UOM barcode in GRPO transaction via RF Module – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory
Pro the system would not determine the alternate UOM barcode when performing a GRPO transaction via the RF
Module. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Warehouse determination in Production Document – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro the
system would not determine the appropriate warehouse code when performing a Receipt from Production or an
Issue to Production transaction from the RF Module. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory Pro.

Incorrect Date format in RF Transactions – Due to an issue in the previous release of Inventory Pro the system
would determine an incorrect date format for non-english locales. This has been fixed in this release of Inventory
Pro.

Enhancements

 Automatic Allocation – A new service has been included in Inventory Pro to automatically allocate item
quantities periodically. A new setup screen has been included in the Inventory Pro add-on to configure
parameters for Automatic Allocation.

 Label Printing from GRPO screen – A new button has been added to the GRPO screen in SAP Business One to
enable the user to print item labels for item quantities received in the GRPO.

 Block user from changing allocation control on Sales Order – A new setting has been provided in the Inventory
Pro > Document Setting to prevent the user from changing the allocation control on Sales Order. In this case the
default allocation control defined in the Inventory Pro > Document Setting will always apply.

 Inventory Transfer Request – Inventory Transfer Request document included in SAP Business One 8.82 has
been added to the Order Management process and RF Transactions. Using the RF Module the user can perform
picking transactions against Inventory Transfer Requests and can also post Inventory Transfers based on
Inventory Transfer Requests subsequent to the picking process.

 Picking Report for Independent Picking – Printing of Picking Report for Independent Picking has been enabled
on the Picking Screen.

 Put-Away Transactions from RF Module – Put-Away transaction from RF Module has been extended for A/R
Credit Memo, A/P Invoice, Return and Receipt from Production documents.

 Production Order transactions from RF Module – Issue from Production and Receipt from Production
transactions have been incorporated in the RF Module.

 Customizable Report for Stock Take – With this version of Inventory Pro the Stock Take report can be
customized. A sample report template has been included in the Sample Reports folder.

 Copy UDF values to Delivery Document – A new setting has been included in the Inventory Pro > Document
Settings to enable copying of UDF values from Sales Order to Delivery document.


Gross Profit in Marketing Documents – With this version of Inventory Pro the Gross Profit Base Price will be
populated appropriately based on the SAP Business One > Document Settings and selected Item UOM.

Quantity to Move – With this version of Inventory Pro the Quantity to Move column will be set to Zero after the row
is moved to selected matrix.

Service Type Marketing Documents – Due to an issue in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on the
system would prompt the user to enable the Unit Price column for Service type marking documents whereas this
prompt should only display for Item type documents. This has been fixed in this release.

Un-do Picking for Production Orders – In some rare cases an un-do picking transaction could not be performed for
Production Orders which were subsequently updated. This has been fixed in this release.

Closing Locked Pick Tickets – Due to an issue in the previous version of the Inventory Pro add-on the user was able
to close a pick ticket from Order Management screen which was locked by the RF User. This has been fixed in this
release.

Picking in case of Soft Allocation – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, on adding a picking
document would not reduce the stock from the source bin. This has been fixed in this release.

Changing the Warehouse in a Delivery Document – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, an
inventory mismatch occurs if the user changes the warehouse on the Delivery Document rows which is based on an
allocated Sales Order. This has been fixed in this release.

Incorrect Discount Determination – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the discount percentage is
determined even when a period discount expires. This has been fixed in this release.

Allocation based on Best Fit Quantity – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, when performing
allocation from the Sales Order screen the system would allocate item quantities from the wrong bin. This has been
fixed in this release.

Pack to Carton – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if the user cancels the pick document after
performing a pack to carton transaction the system would not update the packed quantities. This has been fixed in
this release.

Auto Picking – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, in certain instances the system would display a
Type Cast Error on clicking the Auto button on the Picking screen. This has been fixed in this release.

Enhancements

 Auto Printing – This feature enables to the user to setup automatic printing of SAP Business One documents
created by the Inventory Pro application.

 Picking Confirmation for Partial Quantities – With this release of Inventory Pro it is now possible to confirm
picking for partial quantities (without moving the residual quantity rows to the Open TAB) by clicking the
Manual Confirm button on the Released to Pick TAB of the Order Management screen.

 Auto Picking - With this release of Inventory Pro the system will follow the allocation rules setup in the system
when suggesting Picking on clicking the Auto button in the Picking Screen.

 Pick Ticket Report – The Pick Ticket report has been enhanced in case of Soft Allocation. In case of soft
allocation the Pick Ticket report will sort picking locations based on Allocation Rules setup in the system. This
enhancement is only available in the sample custom report.

 Picking via RF Handheld – In case the Multiple-UOM feature is not enabled, the RF module will now identify the
Barcode recorded in the Barcode field on the Item Master Data screen in SAP Business One. Also a new screen
has been provided in SAP Business One to identify duplicate barcode values stored in the Barcode field of SAP
Business One.

 Put-Away via RF Handheld – A new configuration has been added to the RF module configuration file to enable
display of Bin Quantities when performing a Put-Away transaction using the RF Handheld device.

 Default Warehouse for Independent Picking – With this release of Inventory Pro, the system determines the
default warehouse with following fallback sequence:
1. Item
2. User Defaults
3. Company

You must install Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime with this version of Inventory Pro.

With this version of Inventory Pro you would need to install .Net Framework 4.0


Number Series in SAP Business One documents – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if the SAP
Number series for documents is re-set then the Inventory Pro system would throw an error when performing a Put-
Away transaction. This has been fixed in this release.

Multiple Pick Tickets for an Order Row – In the previous release of the Inventory pro Add-on, in case of Soft
Allocation if Multiple Tickets for an Order Row are created then the system would lock all Pick Tickets on Pick
Confirm of any of these related Pick Tickets. This has been fixed in this release.

Tab out of UOM Field – In the previous release of the Inventory pro Add-on, on tabbing out of the UOM field would
alter the price on the document rows. This has been fixed in this release.

Enhancements

 Language Support – With this release of Inventory Pro the user will be able to select the desired language for
the Inventory Pro add-on irrespective of the language set for SAP Business One.

 Put-Away / Picking – With this release of Inventory pro it is now possible to make the Picking / Put-Away
process mandatory on adding the relevant marketing document. A new setting for this has been provided under
the Inventory Pro – General Settings.


SYS_BIN Transfer – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, due to a missing validation, the stock
quantities were not appropriately transferred to the SYS_BIN on updating the Warehouse as a Multi-Bin warehouse.
This has been fixed in this release.

Inventory Tracking Tool – In the previous release of the Inventory pro Add-on, Serial Numbers were not imported
appropriately using the Inventory Tracking Tool. This has been fixed in this release.

Stock Transfer Recommendation Tool – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if the customer code
was populated in the excel template, the transfer recommendations could not be imported. This has been fixed in
this release.

Order Management – Document Details – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, when a Draft
Inventory Transfer document was created from the Picked Tab, the Document Details screen would display the
wrong Draft Document on clicking the Golden Arrow.

Issue for Production – Due to a bug in SAP Business One 8.81 PL07, the buttons on the Issue of Production screen
would disappear when running the Inventory Pro Add-on. The Inventory Pro add-on code has been tweaked to
overcome this SAP issue.

SYS_BIN Transfer – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, due to negative stock in the warehouse,
stock quantities were not appropriately transferred to the SYS_BIN on updating the Warehouse as a Multi-Bin
warehouse. This has been fixed in this release.

Rounding Error in Picking and Put-Away – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if the conversion
factor for Sales or Purchase unit of measure is in two decimal places and the marketing document is created with
decimal quantities, then the system would result in a rounding error leading to quantity mismatch between SAP
warehouse quantity and Bin quantities. This has been fixed in this release.

Copy & Paste in Marketing Documents – The Copy & Paste functionality is disabled by the add-on in Marketing
Documents due to limitations in the SAP Business One UI-API. This has been fixed in this release only for SAP
Business One 8.81.

Inventory Reconciliation – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if the stock count at the Bin Level
results in Zero difference at the Item-Warehouse level then the Inventory Pro add-on would not reconcile such rows.
This has been fixed in this release.

Partial Receipt in GRPO – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, if a Purchase Order is partially
received in a GRPO then the Inventory Pro add-on would lock the Purchase Order for subsequent receipts. This has
been fixed in this release.

Batch Sorting in Picking and Put-Away screens – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Batch
numbers were not appropriately sorted in the Picking and Put-Away screens. This has been fixed in this release.

Bins Choose from List – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Bins Choose from List would usually
hang the system or had poor performance. This has been fixed in this release.

Delivery creation by RF Integration Service – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the RF Integration
service would only update the Delivery Document header if the Ship to Code in Sales Order Line level was NULL. This
has been fixed in this release.

Print Error in Picking Screen – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, on clicking the Print button in the
Picking screen would result in a form initiation error. This has been fixed in this release.

Enhancements

 Inventory Pro Setup Wizard – This release incorporates a setup wizard which will guide the user through the
sequence of steps for configuring the solution.

 On-Line Help – This release incorporates screen sensitive help. Users can press CTRL+SHIFT+P to bring up the
help for the active screen.

 New Release Notification – Whenever a new version of the product is released the system will display the
update notification as a SAP Business One alert.

 Sample Pick Ticket Reports – Sample Pick Ticket reports have been included in the add-on. The sample reports
will be placed under the CTXInventory ProSample Reports folder on installation. These sample Pick Ticket
reports can be used as a reference / starting point for report customization. A guide for customizing Pick Ticket
reports is also included with the product documentation.

 GUI for generating the RF Configuration File – The Inventory Pro add-on includes a new screen for defining
various RF configuration parameters and exporting a RF Configuration file based on the defined parameters.

 Installer Enhancements for Inventory Pro services – Installers for Inventory Pro services include a GUI for
defining the connection parameters during the install routine.

 Language Support – Inventory Pro GUI is now available in the following languages:
 English
 Italian
 French
 Latin American Spanish
 Brazilian Portuguese


FIFO Allocation Method – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, stock was not appropriately allocated
as per the FIFO Allocation rule. This has been fixed in this release.

Enhancements

 Compatibility with SAP Business One 8.81 – With this version, Inventory Pro is now compatible with SAP
Business One 8.81 (PL03 and above).

 Best Fit Quantity - Allocation Method – A new allocation method “Best Fit Quantity” has been incorporated in
this release. This allocation method allocates item quantities from bins which best fulfill the required quantities.

 RF Enhancements – Following enhancements have been incorporated in the RF Module:

 Display Last Item Scanned – When doing a Stock Take in scan each mode, the RF Module will now display
the Last Item Scanned.
 Menu Navigation – A new configuration parameter has been provided in the RF module configuration file
to allow the RF user to remain on the same transaction menu or return to Main Menu.


Bin Lookup Sort Order in RF Module – In the previous release of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Bin lookup in the RF
Module was only sorted by Zone Preference and not by Bin Preference. This has been fixed in this release, i.e. – Bin
lookup will now be sorted by Zone Preference and then further by Bin Preference.

Enhancements

 Continuous Scanning within Bins – This feature enables the RF Handheld user to scan multiple Items / Batches /
Serials within a Bin without the need for scanning the Bin code for each Item / Batch / Serial, i.e. – The bin code
needs to be scanned only once when transacting within that bin. This feature is controlled from the RF
configuration file.

 License Expiration Warning – The system displays a warning message 15 days prior to the expiry date of the
Inventory Pro License.


Put-Away from RF Module – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Inventory Pro
interface tables get locked if an error is encountered during a Put-Away transaction. This bug has been fixed in this
release.

Production Order Cancellation – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, an allocated
Production Order could be cancelled from a third party application. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Picking from RF Module – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, in case of soft allocation
if multiple users transact the same item from the same bin would result in an inventory mismatch. This bug has been
fixed in this release.

Object Reference Error on Batch Selection Screen – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-
on, while selecting batches from the Batch Selection screen the system would display an Object Reference Error.
This issue is only observed when the Multiple UOM feature is enabled and Multi-Bin feature is disabled. This bug has

Serial Number management for Return Documents – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-
on, if a delivered serial number item is returned then the returned serial number could no longer be delivered in
another delivery document for the same order. This bug has been fixed in this release

Enhancements

 New License Manager – This release incorporates a new Licensing System which allows license activation over
the internet.


Incorrect Rounding in determining Volume Discounts in Marketing Documents – Due to a bug in the previous
version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, when using the Multiple UOM feature of Inventory Pro, the system would
determine an incorrect discount percentage due to a rounding error while determining volume discounts. This bug

Inconsistent UOM information in Service Type Marketing Documents – Due to a bug in the previous version of the
Inventory Pro Add-on, when using the Multiple UOM feature of Inventory Pro, the system would return an error
“Inconsistent UOM Information” when adding Service type Marketing Documents. This bug has been fixed in this
release.

Enhancements

 Inventory Transfer Recommendation – A new import tool has been included to import Inventory Transfer
recommendations using excel templates. Imported Inventory Transfer recommendations can be processed
using the Inventory Pro Order Management. Pick Tickets generated for such Inventory Transfer
recommendations can also be processed using the RF module.
 Restrict Pick Ticket Generation for Orders with “Partial Delivery” unchecked – A new setting has been
provided in the Inventory Pro > Document Settings to restrict the generation of pick tickets for orders which
have “Partial Delivery” field unchecked on the Logistics Tab of the Sales Order.
 Auto – Select Document Rows – A new setting has been provided in the Inventory Pro > Document Settings to
allow selection of Document Rows in the Released To Pick Tab of the Order Management screen based on Order
Number.
 Inventory Enquiry – A new feature - Inventory Enquiry has been added to the RF module. This feature enables
the RF user to check stock level within Bins or alternately check for Inventory availability within bins.


Bin Query Report – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Bin lookup on the
Selection Criteria screen would hang and eventually disconnect the add-on. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Import Scanned Data – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the import routine for
importing scanned data from RF Handheld devices would hang and eventually disconnect the add-on. This bug has

Undo Order Picking – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Undo Order Picking
functionality would throw an error in case of Soft Allocation. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Enhancements

 Order Management – A new button “Release to Pick” has been added to the Open Tab of the Order
management screen. Clicking this button will move document rows from the Open Tab directly to the Release to
Pick Tab.

 Inventory Posting – The Inventory Posting (Stock Take) procedure has been modified to keep the process in line
with the standard SAP Business One behavior, i.e. – the counted quantities in Bins are not adjusted as per the
physical movement of inventory. Rather the user entered quantities are maintained as counted quantities
within the bins.

 Shipping Integration – The Ship to Address populated in the interface table for import into shipping applications
is now taken from the Address Components on the Logistics Tab of the Sales Order Document.


Manual Allocation – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, Manual Allocation of partial
quantities would result in duplicate allocation. This bug has been fixed in this release.

ATP Calculation – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the ATP engine was not
considering holidays when determining the Shipping Start Date. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Removal of Triggers – Use of Database Triggers has been removed from this version of the Inventory Pro Add-on.

Enhancements

 Display Language – Inventory Pro user interface has been translated in Spanish, Portuguese and French
languages.

 Pick Ticket Printing – If a network printer is not defined under the Inventory Pro Document Settings, the system
will issue the print command to the default printer of the client machine.

 Attaching UOM Set to Items – The user will be able to modify the UOM Set attached to the item, provided no
transactions have been posted for the Item.

 Authorization for Allocation screen – Authorization control for Allocation screen launched from the Sales Order
screen has been added.

 Fault Tolerance for RF Module – The RF Module has been enhanced to provide fault tolerance for intermittent
network failures. If the RF Module looses connection with the SAP Business One server during a transaction, the
user would be displayed a suitable message and an option button to re-try the connection with the server. If the
connection is re-established the user will be able to continue to transaction.

 Configuration Options – Following new configuration options have been incorporated in Inventory Pro under
Document Settings (Administration > Inventory Pro> Document Settings):

 Order Management

1. Display Picking After Pick Confirm – With this option selected, the system will display the Picking
document (Picking Screen) after the user clicks the Pick Confirm button. Unselect this option to disable

 Shipping Tab

1. Pick Tax Code from Document Rows – With this option selected, the Shipping integration service
would pick the Tax Code from draft delivery document rows provided all rows have the same Tax Code
and attach the same when adding header level freight for shipping charges. With the Create Delivery
option selected in the Inventory Pro Document Setting > Shipping Tab, if the Tax Code on the
document rows do not match then the system will only add the Freight to the draft delivery document
and will not convert it to a firm delivery document.


Release To Pick for Production Order Rows – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, on
clicking the Release to Pick button would move the Production Order rows to the Release to Pick Tab, however these
rows were also appear under the Open Tab. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Bins Looking in Bin Stock Query Report – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Bins
lookup on the Selection Criteria screen would display an empty Choose From List. This bug has been fixed in this
release.

Inventory Tracking Worksheet – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, with the “Hide
Bins with no Quantity” option selected, the Inventory Tracking Worksheet would display additional bins. This bug

Allocation of Production Orders – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, in certain rare
cases the user was unable to allocate child item quantities for production orders. This bug has been fixed in this
release.

Negative quantity in Marketing Documents – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the
user was able enter negative quantities in document rows with Multi-Bin warehouses which caused inconsistency in
Inventory Pro. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Bin-Wise Audit Report – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Bin-Wise Audit
Report would display the posting date of the document rather than the Document Date. This bug has been fixed in
this release.

Batch / Serial Transaction Report – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the Batch /
Serial Transaction Report would display the posting date of the document rather than the Document Date. This bug

Delivery Draft – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the user was unable to save the
delivery document as a draft for Non Multi-Bin warehouses. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Reserve Invoice – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, with RF feature enables the user
was unable add an A/P Reserve Invoice based on a Purchase Order. This bug has been fixed in this release.

Available to Promise – Due to a bug in the previous version of the Inventory Pro Add-on, the system would calculate
the ATP dates based on the posting date rather than the Requested Delivery Date. This bug has been fixed in this
release.

Enhancements

 Multiple Units of Measure – SAP Business One 8.8 now supports basic multiple units-of-measure functionality,
enabling the user to modify and remove item units of measure in sales, purchasing, and inventory documents.
Based on this change in SAP Business One 8.8, the Multiple Units of Measure feature in Inventory Pro version
6.0.0.0 has been re-aligned to comply with this change.
Note: If you are using the Multiple Units of Measure feature in the previous versions of Inventory Pro, you must
contact CitiXsys to have your database analyzed for upgrade to Inventory Pro version 6.0.0.0

 RF Handheld Licensing – Licensing for the RF Module has been revised with Inventory Pro version 6.0.0.0
The RF Module licensing is now based on the number of Handhelds to be used with the application.
