Beatriz Armendariz is a highly qualified individual, with vast
amount of experience working as a Lecturer in several
leading educational institutions. She is the Founding
Member of Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance
Foundation, Paris and serves on its Board of Directors. She
is also a Research Fellow and Member of the Scientific
Committee for the Center for European Research in
Microfinance (CERMi). Her current academic positions are
Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University College
London, UK (2010 to 2011), and Lecturer in Economics at
Harvard University, USA (2010 to 2011).

Throughout her career, Beatriz Armendariz has held several
prominent positions at different educational institutes. She
served as Teaching Assistant at ITAM; as Research Officer
at INEGI (Mexico); as Visiting Scholar in Economics

London School of Economics; as Visiting Professor at

Beatriz Armendariz, a well qualified professional, holds years

educational institutions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo
de Mexico (ITAM), Mexico. She later joined the University of
Cambridge, UK, and thereby completed her M. Phil in
