Borort Sort joined the United Nations University headquarters in Tokyo, Japan in July 2013 as a lead software engineer for the UNU project management system development under the Rector Office. He later joined the software engineering team at UNU Campus Computing Centre (C3) in March 2015 and has been working on the development of the University's intranet applications and ERP system.
He was a fellow at the United Nations University International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST), Macau from March 2011 to June 2013. His main responsibilities include assisting in carrying out research management and operations-related matters and overseeing the development of ICT4D projects.
