- The Eiffel Tower was built for the International Exhibition in Paris in(1887-1889)
- The Louvre museum was built in 1793, it’s a successive architectural metamorphoses, has dominated central Paris since the late 12th century. Built on the city's western edge, the original structure was gradually engulfed as the city grew.
