To compete in within this environment without sacrificing our commitment to quality products, we must accept smaller profits and minimize our staff and internal resources to remain in business. To preserve our business principles we must rely on strong customer relationships. This is vital when customer service falls short or supply chain issues occur leading to extended turn around times. The truth of the matter is that American Manufacturing struggles with producing products as fast as foreign competitors. Several of our domestic competitors have switched to buying critical components from overseas suppliers in order to speed up production and reduce cost. And then stamp their US headquarters location and name such as “Sell Out Mfg”. - Michigan City, USA. Gardner Denver continues to use domestic suppliers and vendors to produce their components. Some of these vendor relationships have existed for over 100 years.
