Jennifer Smith, founder of marketingmattersmm, is a passionate marketer with over 30 years business experience, 28 of which were spent in sales and marketing. She has worked as a product and brand manager for leading brand companies like L’Oreal, Unilever and Tiger Brands. Her knowledge of the value chain was enhanced by spending time at Unifoods in Procurement and as Category Manager for Juice, Wine and Soya at Tetra Pak.
As National Market Manager for the South African Sugar Association (SASA), she honed her skills as a marketing/business strategist. Since May 2007 when Marketing Matters was launched, she has created over 75 strategies for companies in over 30 different industries.
