One of my favorite foods to make is French toast. The ingredients needed are 4 slices of bread, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, butter, and a fruit topping. First, the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract are whisked together in a bowl. Next, each slice of bread is dipped in the egg mixture to coat both sides. Then, the bread slices are placed in a hot, greased skillet and cooked until brown and crispy on each side. Finally, the French toast is served with the choice of fruit or syrup. I love French toast for breakfast or dinner because it tastes like dessert.

paper to help you talk about how to make your favorite food.
Your assignment this week is to choose one of your favorite recipes and explain step by
step how to make it. Your paper should be in paragraph form with transitional words like
first, next, and finally. Start your paragraph off by telling the reader what materials and
ingredients they will need to make your dish, and then continue it with each step in the
correct order. If you get stuck think about what someone who has never cooked before
would need to do in order to make your dish perfectly. Make sure your steps are
