The Dealers Collective can help you expand your business by:  Increasing the size of your inventory  Increasing the size of your customer base 19-08-2011 4
Vintageandrare.com Helping you Serve your Customers A potential customer visits your shop, looking to buy a vintage instrument that you don’t have. Instead of showing this customer the door, you…  Log-on to the Dealers Collective at Vintage & Rare  Find another dealer or builder who has the instrument  Broker the sale  Earn a commission and get a happy customer! We want you to be able to earn a profit on every customer that walks through your door, regardless of what instrument they are looking for. 19-08-2011 5
Vintageandrare.com How it works It’s quite simple: The Dealers Collective works by letting you purchase specific instruments from other certified dealers and builders on Vintage & Rare, at a discounted price, and sell these instruments to your own customers with a mark-up.  Likewise, you can make your own instruments and products available to other dealers and builders on Vintage & Rare, and determine the price that you are willing to sell them for. Other dealers will then sell your instruments to their customers for you. 19-08-2011 6

Vintageandrare.com 1. Accessing the Dealers Collective  Log-in to your profile on Vintageandrare.com  Select the ’Dealers Collective’ tab on your main profile page  And, you are ready to go! 19-08-2011 8

Making your own instruments available  Click on ’My Instruments’ on your main profile page, and select ’Items List’  Select the instrument(s) you want to make available on the Dealers Collective  Click ’Edit’  Check the box beside ’Dealers Collective’ under Step 4  Insert you in-store price, and the dealer discount (in %) you are willing to give  And, your item is now available in the Dealers Collective! 19-08-2011 9

Earning a profit When you sell another dealer or builder’s instrument or product: You receive a Dealer’s Discount on the price of the instrument The Dealer’s Discount is normally 20-30% You earn a profit by adding a markup to your re-sell price When another dealer or builder sells your instrument or product: You earn your normal profit, minus the Dealers Discount And any negotiated shipping costs 19-08-2011 11
