How can we explain verbal misunderstandings?
Body language is the quiet, secret and most powerful language of all, it is a complicated but important part of communication. The importance of non-verbal communication has grown rapidly over the last few decades. Many people pay very little attention non-verbal messages and body signals, concentrating on more on words. It is important to note that non-verbal communication is really about a lack of words, rather than a lack of vocalization, non-verbal communication is essentially without the use of words through gestures. Non-verbal signals can produce a sense of interest, trust, and desire for connection. The way react tells the other person whether or not you care and how well you are listening. Non-verbal signals can also create distrust, disinterest, or confusion.

  • 13. communication Communication in general is the process of sending and receiving messages that empowers humans to share knowledge and skills. Although we distinguish communication as speech, it is classifies of two dimensions – Verbal & Non-verbal.
  • 14. Conclusion In conclusion I think we can all agree that any form of communication can lead to some type of misunderstanding, one thing we all have in common is that we must communicate in one way or another. Everyone communicates whether knowing it or not. Verbal and non-verbal communication are both used during conversation. Most communicators use body language, gestures, and facial expressions during conversations as well as using words, nonverbal communication is more likely to be used than verbal communication. Many times the signals that are being sent from one person to another. The human communication process is more complex than it initially seems.  Most, of our messages in face to face contact are transmitted through body language.
