Byron is part of the fast-growing team at Optimizely, a San Francisco-based startup that lets businesses optimize their website and mobile apps. As a Product Manager, he focuses on everything from defining product strategy to building new things that customers love. Prior to moving to San Francisco and joining a startup, Byron spent a decade at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he worked as a systems engineer for two robotic missions to Mars and an X-ray telescope, NuSTAR. NuSTAR launched in June 2012 and has made some pivotal discoveries about our understanding of Black holes and how they form. He earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering from CU Boulder and studied for a semester in.
