The student used various hardware and software to plan and construct their magazine pages. They used a booklet, blog tasks, and drafts to plan their magazine's content and design. Photoshop was difficult to use but allowed image editing. InDesign was easier and they learned skills like wrapping text. Blogger and Slideshare made sharing work easier. While struggling with Photoshop, Picnik allowed simple image cropping and effects. Overall the technologies were effective despite some challenges with Photoshop.

8. After I selected outer glow, this box came up and I changed the opacity level to create the outer glow and alter its thickness etc.

16. After- The text has now been ‘wrapped’, so that you can still see the interview around the quotation .

21. After I cropped the image as shown below, I went to the effects heading and selected Focal B&W which made the whole image black and white but with colour focus on the lips. When I got how much of the lips I wanted in colour, I clicked ok and saved the image.
