overwhelmed staff and can also integrate explaining office procedures, policies and test

Call 4 Health – Our Service
The procedure and requirements for the program are straightforward and simple. Call 4
Health generally makes the reminder calls during the hours of 6PM­ 9PM (These hours can be
redefined based on your individual direction). Reminder calls are conducted at pre­arranged
intervals (e.g., one or two days before an appointment). The client can also identify other call
processing requirements including the maximum number of attempts per patient, and what
to do in the event that the call is received by an answering machine or a family member 4

Scripts are designed by our clients, but are reviewed by Call 4 Health’s Account Management
team who is readily available to provide any suggestions. In our experience, the script should
be brief and simply introduce the purpose of the call and state the appointment date and time
along with the physician that will be seen. The physician’s office can email their daily
appointment list to Call 4 Health. Call 4 Health’s staff, in conjunction with the client’s office
will develop codes that can be manually entered next to each patient’s name (e.g., confirmed,
left reminder on answering machine, no answer, wants to reschedule, disconnected number,
etc.). Upon completion of the list, the client’s office will receive an email with all of the results
from the previous evening’s calls. 5
