INDIAN MARKET
INDIAN FACE
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK ended at fresh record highs as
institutional investors bought stocks across the board on hopes
that the Finance Minister would announce reforms to boost the
economy. Shares of Adani Group companies were ended higher
by up to 10% on back of heavy volumes.
Further, Bajaj Auto auto sales stood at 3.05 lk units in June as
compared to 2.95lk units YoY. The total motorcycle sales stood
at 2.62lk units.
Coal India rose 2.05% after the company declared production
and offtake data of June 2014.
GLOBAL FACE
Asian stock markets were mostly higher, as an upbeat record
close on Wall Street lifted sentiment.
European stocks were mostly higher, after positive Spanish
unemployment data as markets awaited the European Central
Bank's monthly policy meeting on Thursday.
U.S. stocks markets futures pointed to a steady open, as markets
eyed the release of U.S. employment data later in the day amid
growing concerns over the strength of the U.S. economic
recovery.

Realty stocks advance on hopes of
favorable announcements in Budget
Shares of nine real estate developers rose by 0.11% to 2.46% on
hopes of favorable announcements for the sector in the final Union
Budget 2014-15 to be unveiled on 10 July 2014. Indiabulls Real
Estate (up 2.46%) Hubtown (up 2.34%), Oberoi Realty (up 2.27%),
DLF (up 1.69%), Unitech (up 0.92%), D B Realty (up 0.84%),
Parsvnath Developers (up 0.58%), Godrej Properties (up 0.75%)
and HDIL (up 0.11%) edged higher.
Mphasis jumps on buzz HP may sell
stake
MphasiS rose 4.65% on reports that promoter company Hewlett-
Packard has revived plans to sell its stake in the Indian company.
Hewlett-Packard is not only Mphasis promoter, it is also its largest
client. But the HP channel business has been on a decline. The
revenue mix between the company's direct business and that
sourced through HP has changed significantly to 64:36 in the
quarter ended March 2014 from 54:46 in the quarter ended March
2013.
Reliance Communications allots
equity shares
Reliance Communications announced that the QIP Committee of
the Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on 02
July 2014, has issued and allotted 33,82,86,197 Equity Shares of
face value of Rs 5 each to the eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers
at a price of Rs 142.14 per Equity Share.
TVS Motors Company records total
sales of 2.02 lakh units in June 2014
TVS Motors Company recorded 23% growth in sales during the
month of June 2014, with total primary sales increasing from
164,128 units recorded in the month of June 2013 to 202,177 units
in the month of June 2014. The company's total exports grew by
24% with sales increasing from 26,047 units in the month of June
2013 to 32,290 units in June 2014.
