INDIAN MARKET
INDIAN FACE
 INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK surged one percent ahead of
RBI policy tomorrow, recouping more than half of Friday’s
losses. The rupee recovered too, up 25 paise to 60.93 a dollar
compared to Friday's closing value.
 Further, Syndicate Bank tanked 7 percent after chairman and
managing director of the bank arrested by CBI in bribery case.
 IT shares firmed up on the back of upbeat US economic data
as they earn most of their revenues from exports to the US.
Infosys was up nearly 3.6%, Wipro gained 2.5% and TCS was
up 0.4%.
GLOBAL FACE
 Asian stock markets mostly on the defensive, with concerns
over geopolitical tensions eclipsing US data that argued
against an earlier start to the Federal Reserve's rate-
tightening cycle.
 European stocks market held gains, despite downbeat Spanish
employment data, as investors awaited a highly anticipated
policy meeting by the European Central Bank later in the
week.
 U.S. stocks market fell after investors sold on fears Argentina's
default, the conflict in Ukraine and a soft global recovery don't
support the lofty valuations present on Wall Street in recent
trading.

Rs1.85bn
Marico Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs. 1852.787 mn for the
quarter ended June 30, 2014 whereas the same was at net profit of
Rs. 1577.262 mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2013.Total Income
is Rs. 16414.501 mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 whereas
the same was at Rs. 13963.124 mn for the quarter ended June 30,
2013.
 OBC turns volatile after Q1 results
Oriental Bank of Commerce rose 0.73% after net profit rose 3.15%
to Rs 364.54 crore on 6.09% growth in total income to Rs 5576.02
crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q1 June 2013.The bank's provisions
and contingencies rose 1.65% to Rs 541.58 crore in Q1 June 2014
over Q1 June 2013.OBC's provision coverage ratio stood at 59.11%
as on 30 June 2014.
 Ipca Laboratories Q1 net profit at
Rs1454.90 mn
Ipca Laboratories Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs. 1454.90 mn for
the quarter ended June 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 717.70 million
for the quarter ended June 30, 2013. Total Income has increased
from Rs. 8100.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 to Rs.
9422.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
 Petronet LNG Q1 net profit at
Rs1566mn
Petronet LNG Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs. 1566.00 mn for the
quarter ended June 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 2253.20 mn for
the quarter ended June 30, 2013.Total Income has increased from
Rs. 84594.40 mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 to Rs.
101961.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.
