INDIAN FACE
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK remaining under pressure for the past two trading sessions, indices has finally managed to stage a comeback on Friday amid gains in the Banking, Capital Goods, Power and the Realty stocks. On the other hand, the IT and the telecom stocks ended with losses. Today’s recovery was seen despite disappointing set of quarterly earning released by IT bellwethers like TCS and HCL Tech.
Further, TCS slumped 8.73%, after the company's consolidated net profit as per Indian GAAP fell 5.8% to Rs5244 crore on 7.7% growth in revenue to Rs23816 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q1 June 2014.
Hero MotoCorp posted a 58.62% jump in fiscal Q2 net profit to Rs.763 cr, beating market estimates.
GLOBAL FACE
Asian markets which had edged higher early today on the back of robust US economic data trimmed gains with shares in Japan witnessing a sell-off.
European stocks rose in early trading on Friday, bouncing after the week's sharp drop, as positive U.S. macro data soothed worries over the global economy and the expiry of derivative contracts helped reduced the selling pressure.
US stock index futures poised for a sharply higher opening at the Wall Street on Friday.

Rallis India Q2 net profit at Rs734.30mn
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 761.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 802.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 5731.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs. 5846.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
Tata Motors heads south on lower global sales
Tata Motors has moved considerably lower in mid-morning trades on the BSE, after the company posted an 8.3 per cent fall in the global sales. According to a BSE release, the automaker reported 8.3 per cent fall in global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, at 80,104 units in September 2014 as against 87,316 units sold in the same month a year ago.
HCL Technologies stock slips 7% on Q1 results
Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd slipped 7% at Rs 1547 after the company has posted a net profit of Rs. 16825.60 mn for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 12909.70 mn for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 39580.80 mn for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs. 44194.80 mn for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
TCS stock plunges 7%
Shares of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd was down 7% at Rs 2493. The stock has hit a high of Rs2509 and a low of Rs2451.The company has posted a net profit of Rs. 52442.80 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 46333.30 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 209515.30 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2013 to Rs. 244791.10 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2014.
Delta Corp reports Q2 net loss of Rs3.55 cr (YoY); stk down
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs10.65 crore Vs Rs20.16
