1. How to install the AUTOCOM
Recently a friend asked me how to activate autocom he bought some days ago. Because he
tried many times but all failed, he needed the autocom to work immediately. I had called and
taught him how to activate step by step. Now I want to share how to activate autocom cdp

1. Turn off the internet connection (important) for setup and activation only, after finish
activation you can use internet. Then you can insert the CD
2. Insert a USB-memory stick with at least 1MB free space, Then you can find a text” READ
ME” about how to use the autocom, you can do step by step.
3. Setup software( in the start.exe) and select the language you like, English, French,
Spanish and so on.
4. Write product ID, SN and Hardware Key. There are different between car and truck

5. Software activation. Clink on” activate via USB” and you will have the “File Activation.
Xml file” in the USB-memory stick. Post this file to the sales where you bought autocom,
they will help you to activate it.
6. You can clink “Autocom CARS”. It may needs you some minutes to open, just wait quietly.
7. Find setting and clink the hardware setup. Select the correct COM-Port( COM4 VCP) and
test. Maybe there will be a prompt says incorrect firmware version . You can clink on and
will return to the hardware setup screen.

2. 8. Next is the screen to choose the Brand Model ,Year Model Engine and System of your car
and go to next screen.If you meet” incorrect firmware version” you can back for the
hardware setup and clink the “update firmware”. After finished update, you can press OK
go to next screen .
9. At this time you had install the autocom cdp pro, just to check it there is all right.
