2. It is a medical and humanitarian international organization that contributes his help to the victims of catastrophes of natural or human origin and of armed conflicts. It was founded in France in 1971 by a group of doctors and journalists.

3. THE NOBEL PRIZE It was rewarded by the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999. The committee Nobel prize of Norway granted it to them for being a pioneer in the humanitarian work in several places.

4. They were also awarded with the Prince of Asturias Prize in 1991.

5. Nowadays, it possesses almost 4 million partners, two thousand volunteers being employed at humanitarian programs at seventy countries and other thousand at administrative labors. It treats some diseases like tuberculosis, AIDS and meningitis.
