3. Biography Frost was born 26 March 1874 in San Francisco. He later moved to the New England area around 11 years old. He spent most of his life here and it played a pivotal role in his work. Frost taught at various levels and had a strong interest in nature and science, though he never earned a formal degree. He also ran a farm that was handed down from his grandfather where he raised his family. He was married and had 6 children. Unfortunately, death plagued the Frost family, which took his father, mother, sister, wife, and two of his children.
