What you see here are Healthy Vending Guidelines adopted by our Board of Health in April of this year. It explains which foods are healthiest, healthy and limited, and provides advice for action steps that institutions can take to change the contents of their vending machines so that they include a larger proportion of healthy items. The guidelines are already being piloted by a local housing authority, within a local parks department and within a department of King County.
