A conversation between the interviewer and the interviewee
in order to obtain information from the interviewee
“An interview is a procedure designed to obtain
information from a person’s oral response to oral
inquiries”

Typically a short interview used for the purpose of
conducting a brief evaluation of a candidate.
On-Site Interview -An interview conducted the
location of the company/organization
Off-Site Interview - An interview that occurs
outside of an organization

Research the company
Find out the dress code in advance and dress
accordingly
Anticipate the questions from the interviewer
Practice with yourself or with a friend
Refer employer’s website

Trade journals
One spare copy of
your resume.
Proof of your
eligibility.
Your service letters
obtained from
previous employers.
Take into account the weather
Dress to fit in
One level above the work environment
Dark or neutral colors
Natural fabrics

slightly above

Avoid extreme or excessive

comfortable and a belt to match
Purse/bag should be small and
simple.
Hair should be neat and clean
